Building Global Ties to Expand Northeast Ohio’s Economy

I had the chance recently to participate in a meeting hosted by GAR on how we can attract more immigrant talent to Northeast Ohio. Mark Santo, the newly appointed head of the Cleveland Council of World Affairs, also participated. Mark clearly takes this issue seriously, and on June 23d the CCWA will be hosting an benefit gala designed to help raise money for the Council’s Model United Nations conferences - the oldest, continuously running MUN in the country- its Global Classroom Program for elementary and secondary students, and its services to help corporations succeed in the global economy.
