Going Inside Business

Two things to report today–first, Jim Cossler wants to make sure everyone knows the full extent of things going on at the Youngstown Business Incubator:

“Most people know us for the cutting edge software solutions that we are delivering to world-wide markets. But, few know us for the depth of the technical support that we are providing to the broader Northeast Ohio business community as well. Just ask Mike Garvey, CEO of M-7 Technologies, a provider of engineered solutions for heavy industry. For Mike, we’ve put together a team of high level computer modeling, instrumentation, and movement optimization experts, gathered from throughout Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. In doing so, we are working toward developing more applications using the accuracy and precision of M-7 Technologies’ portable, laser driven, coordinate measurement and dimensional inspection equipment technology. A technology that will play a critical role in American heavy industry’s drive to remain globally competitive. Yeah, we know software. But we are also conversant in ‘metal bending’.”

The second thing we have to report is that TechFutures has joined forces with Great Lakes Publishing and will be featured quarterly with an editorial column in Inside Business Magazine beginning with the March edition coming out tomorrow.

Great Lakes has been a huge help to us in our efforts, both at TechFutures and at NorTech, where they run the OhioTechNet newsletter and patent search service for us. (OhioTechNet, in case you aren’t already a subscriber, is a free newsletter featuring technology-related news from around the state, along with weekly new patent information from Ohio and around the world. You can sign up for it here.)

So check out Inside Business’s March issue and let us know what you think. The TechFutures blog will continue as always.
